Properties of the pesticide
A pyrethroid insecticide, the active ingredient of which is Deltamethrin is a wettable powder.
Works by contact, used to control insects in their places of presence and reproduction.

Storage
Keep the pesticide in its original airtight containers in a safe, dry and well-ventilated place, away from food, feed, and sources of heat, moisture and direct sunlight.
Do not stack more than 6 cartons on top of each other.
Dispose of empty packages
Empty packages should not be used for any purpose whatsoever, and empty containers and leftovers of the pesticide should be disposed according to applicable local regulations and through the licensed companies responsible for disposal of pesticide packages and leftovers.
In the event of a fire
- Activating fire systems and reporting to the fire authorities.
- Remove sources of ignition.
- Fire containment as much as possible and not risk extinguishing the fire.
- After extinguishing the fire, take steps to remediate the leak
First Aid
- When swallowing: keep the victim calm and in a comfortable position. In case of deterioration of the injured person’s health, use artificial respiration and when using mouth-to-mouth artificial respiration, it should be taken into account that the vomit contains quantities toxic from deltamethrin and see a doctor with the package of the pesticide.
- When inhaling: Move the patient to the fresh air while keeping him in a comfortable position and warm him up and refer to the doctor if symptoms persist
- On contact with skin: remove contaminated clothing and wash the affected skin areas immediately with soap and plenty of water. Symptoms can be partially relieved by applying vitamin E or a moisturizing cream, when symptoms persist and by seeing a doctor.
- When contacting the eyes: Wash the eyes with running water for at least 15 minutes, and if there are contact lenses present, remove it after the first 5 minutes and continue washing. If symptoms persist, see a doctor.
Symptoms of poisoning
Headache – dizziness – vomiting – eye inflammation – inflammation of the mucous membranes of the respiratory system
Antidote and anti-dose
There is no special antidote, treatment according to the symptoms shown.
Handling and usage precautions
- Follow the instructions on the pesticide label carefully.
- Wearing protective clothing (an apron, shoes, hat, gloves, glasses, Masks) when mixing or using pesticides.
- Avoid inhaling pesticide dust.
- Avoid contact with the skin, eyes or mouth.
- Not to eat, drink or smoke while spraying.
- Avoid contaminating ponds and irrigation channels with pesticides
- Keep out of the reach of children and pets and birds, food and fodder
- Do not use empty containers as they are disposed of remaining of the pesticide, following the instructions for that.
- Wash the body and protective clothing well with soap and water after use
- Wash the sprayers with water after use.
- It is not allowed to use the pesticide directly on tanks or water basins in general.
- The treated place should be well ventilated after the use of pesticides and keep children, pregnant women and strangers to the places of treatment away and not allow entry for 2-4 hours.
- Not to apply pesticide near apiaries and places of fish farming where the pesticide is toxic for bees and fish. Very toxic to aquatic organisms with long lasting effects.
Warranty
The company guarantees the pesticide in its original packages, under appropriate storage conditions, for a maximum period of twenty-four months from the production date, and the company is not responsible for any damages resulting from misapplication, use or storage.
